Construction of the Edge at Brickell 418 apartments starts in Brickell
The Edge at Brickell apartment project by Behringer Harvard Multifamily REIT has started construction.
The Dallas-based company is building 418 apartments on the 2.4-acre site at the northeast corner of SW 2nd Ave. and 13th Street (Coral Way).
A Dutch pension fund partnered with Behringer to provide the equity for the project. Phoenix-based Alliance Residential is also partnering with the developer.
The general contractor is Plaza Construction.
Condos in Edge at Brickell will average 799 square feet. The largest units will have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Completion is expected in the fourth quarter of 2015.
